Software Development Engineer


The role of the Software Development Engineer is responsible for driving the sale of products to prospective clients through outbound calls, email communications, individual meetings, and through received inbound leads. This position will analyze customer needs and map potential solutions, while building trusting customer relationships. It will partner with Account Managers (AM), Field Engineers (FE), and product management to deliver applications to the market via a multi-channel sales approach. 


 What you will do

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing the deal. 

  • Present products to prospective clients via web demo & phone discussions. 

  • Serve as product expert focused on obtaining new business through software, services and education.  

  • Manage and grow customer relationships in assigned technology/domain and territory. 

  • Develop proposals; engage in enterprise negotiations and execute sales. 

  • Complete timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to support management's strategic decision-making. 

  • Contact and cultivate internally developed leads; pursue target opportunities within assigned territory. 

  • Utilize networking to find new sales opportunities, developing them into long term partnerships. 

  • Remain in frequent contact with assigned clients to understand their needs and provide recommended Hilti product solutions. 

  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and the preservation of the company's reputation

  • 續與客戶保持聯繫,深入了解需求並推薦合適的 Hilti 軟體與解決方案

  • 妥善回應客戶問題與抱怨,確保客戶滿意度並維護公司聲譽

 

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil/ Mechanical/ Architect/ Electrical) is required. 

  • 3+ years of experience in account executive sales closing role, required; experience in SaaS platform software is a plus. 

  • Demonstrated results in the solutions-based selling process. 

  • Ability to uncover customer needs including: goals, plans, challenges, timeline, budget, authority. 

  • Demonstrated communication (written, verbal, presentation, negotiation) skills. 

  • Proactive approach to sales through new business development and lead management follow-up. 

  • Proven abilities in time management and prioritization to ensure management objectives are met. 

  • Proven skills in prospecting and sales cycle management. 

  • Experience selling software solutions into engineering, construction titles, preferred. 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office. 

  • Experience with CRM software (i.e.. Salesforce), preferred. 

  • Experience in digital promotional content produce is a plus.

  • 具備良好的時間管理與工作優先順序安排能力

  • 具備陌生開發與完整銷售流程管理能力

  • 曾將軟體解決方案銷售給工程或營造相關角色者佳

  • 熟悉 Microsoft Office

  • 具 CRM 系統(如 Salesforce)使用經驗者尤佳

  • 具數位推廣或數位內容製作經驗者加分
