Regional Manager M&E Dublin 

As a Regional Sales Manager you will combine a strategic leadership approach with a passion for grass-roots management, coaching, developing your team while optimising sales performance and capabilities.
 
 Your new role is an integral part of the Hilti Ireland leadership team within a growing and thriving sector.

What does the role involve?

As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for the value creation via the hands-on leadership of a team of field-based Account Managers. You will lead, motivate and develop your sales team and manage recruitment, talent development, performance management and foster interdependent collaboration. 

 

You will also be responsible for:
 

  • Execution and delivery of KPI goals for the region as outlined by the Sales Director
  • Advocating systematic account development through the implementation of initiatives to achieve sales and product goals, the development of customer relationships, and sustainable profitable sales growth.
  • Coordinate and execute regional meetings, product launch meetings, review and improve sessions, performance reviews, and development discussions both within the region of responsibility and with the Sales Director
  • Setting specific and measurable priorities that empower the team of Account Managers to achieve their business and personal development targets in alignment with the corporate strategy.
  • Evaluate ROI of creative options in order to make financially sound decisions.
  • Live, model, and coach alignment of the team to Hilti’s purpose and values by inspiring team members to lead and embrace change.
  • Modelling and coaching desired behaviors through time spent in the field with each team member.

What you need is:

  • Suitable internal candidates must meet the internal guidelines before applying (see below)
  • Solid and stable experience managing a field sales team (desired)
  • Experience working with a technical solution or complex product.
  • A passion for excellence, with change management experience
  • Coaching and team development experience (ideally in a matrixed environment)
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Ability to manage operational and strategic aspects concurrently.
  • Full working rights in Ireland/EU
