Championing Procurement Innovation

Develop the supply footprint for the Fastening & Protection Business Area of Hilti in North America.

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead and develop a cross-Business Units team of Senior Procurement Managers in US (BU Anchors, BU Direct Fastening, BU Installation, BU Fire Protection)
  • Translating the different Business Units needs into a North America footprint development strategy, and deliver the related implementation
  • Deliver bottom line net financial savings, focusing on Negotiation, steering production plants and building a healthy pipeline of CoGS projects
  • Develop strategy for key material groups (Steel, Stamping, Injection Molding, Chemicals) with focus on driving localization, competitiveness, supply flexibility & resilience
  • Build and strengthen relationship with strategic suppliers and production plants

What You’ll Bring 

  • This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship (including initial, transfer, or extension), and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and remain authorized for the duration of employment without the need for sponsorship
  • Master of Science in Engineering, Business Administration or comparable technical/commercial education 
  • 7+ years Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management work experience in a comparable industry and environment
  • Experience in Consulting and strategy development, as a plus
  • Travelling internationally required 
  • Several years’ experience in managing teams, matrix organization and stakeholder expectations
