About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance department as a Finance Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting and reporting while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

At Hilti, our accounting department handles a wide range of responsibilities, and as part of the team, you will have the chance to get involved in various activities, broadening your knowledge and skills in the field.

 

 

What does the role involve?

  • Prepare reports and perform analysis to support informed business decision-making
  • Take part in accounting and reporting projects for improving our operations
  • Actively contributes to digitalization by automating processes
  • Participate in month end closing process
  • Assist in bookkeeping and maintaining financial records (bank, fixed assets)
  • Support the Credit & Collection team in contacting clients to follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Support statutory and internal audits
  • Post accounting journals in SAP S/4HANA
  • You will be in direct contact with Chief Accountant

What you need is:

  • University student in Finance or Accounting
  • Fluent Hungarian
  • Effective communication skills, with a strong proficiency in English - written and verbal
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Analytical thinking, interest in project/process management
  • Proactivity, purposefulness, curiosity
