Global Career Made Real

Are you ready to shape the future of a global business – and accelerate your own?

We’re looking for bold, curious, highperforming master’s graduates who want to grow into tomorrow’s international leaders at Hilti.

Outperformer is our flagship global leadership development programme – a fastpaced, immersive, twoyear journey designed to stretch your thinking, build your capabilities, and give you real responsibility from day one.

This is where your potential becomes real and plays a key role in achieving our purpose of Making Construction Better.

What You'll Do

As an Outperformer, you’ll rotate through diverse roles and teams across our business, both locally and internationally. You’ll learn from experienced senior leaders, work on highimpact projects, and grow through intentional coaching and mentoring – all while gaining a deep understanding of Hilti’s customerfocused business model.

You can choose from two tracks:

  • Business Track with 4 rotations:
    1. 12 months as an Account Manager or Field Engineer in Great Britain – owning customer relationships and seeing our products and solutions come to life.
    2. 3 months on an operational project in Northern Europe (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, or Ireland) across areas like marketing, engineering, HR, logistics, or finance.
    3. 6 months on a strategic project at our Regional Headquarters in Manchester.
    4. 3 months on an international assignment outside Northern Europe.

  • Finance Track has two options:
    1. Option 1:
      • 12 months as an Account Manager in Great Britain.
      • 3 months on a local finance project in Northern Europe.
      • 6 months in Controlling & Reporting in Great Britain.
      • 3 months on an international finance project.

  1. Option 2:
    • 3–6 months in Accounting & Shared Services.
    • 6–9 months in Controlling & Reporting.
    • 3 months in Credit & Collections.
    • 3 months on a local finance project.
    • 6 months on an international project in a Market Reach Competence Centre in Germany.

Whichever track you choose, every rotation is designed to give you confidence, skills, and a global mindset.

What You’ll Bring

  • You’ve graduated within 2 years of your application, or you’re preparing to graduate in 2026, with a master’s degree.
  • Your degree is relevant to the track you're applying to – for Business Track we’re looking for engineering, business management, marketing or similar. For Finance Track, we’re looking for a degree in finance, economics, or similar.
  • You have at least 3 months of international experience – working, studying, or volunteering abroad.
  • You have less than 2 years of full-time professional experience
  • Being multilingual is a benefit, however we do expect you to be willing to learn another language whilst on the programme and reach a proficient level by the end.
  • You’re curious and committed, a flexible team player with excellent communication and social skills. You’re a global thinker, interested in general management topics, keen on intercultural experiences and opportunities working abroad
  • For Business Track and Finance Option 1: you hold a full manual UK driving licence.

What’s In It for You

Show us your potential, and we’ll give you a once-in-a-lifetime development experience.

You’ll receive:

  • A £37,500 salary + annual bonus.
  • A permanent contract from day one.
  • International opportunities and exposure to senior leadership.
  • Continuous coaching, mentoring, and tailored development.

Alongside all that, you will also be a part of a series of world‑class learning experiences:

  • Introductory Global Summit: Experience 4 days at our global headquarters in Liechtenstein, featuring the presence of our Executive Board and Global Senior Leadership. The summit offers a comprehensive overview of our business, while fostering soft skill development and meaningful collaboration with fellow program participants.
  • Social Project Summit: 7 days dedicated to building a better future, with contribution to a hands-on, high-impact community project. This experience offers the chance to immerse yourself in a different culture while actively improving living conditions for those in need.
  • Leadership Summit: An enriching learning journey in partnership with the IMD Business School in Lausanne, featuring online modules and collaborative projects with fellow program participants. The experience concludes with a 5-day on-campus summit to deepen insights and to foster business and leadership skills.
