Driving Financial Insight, Strategy, and Performance

The purpose of this role is to provide transparency and analytical support to Hilti North America Finance and the East Market Leadership Team. This role involves forecasting, reporting, and ongoing steering of the East Market P&L. The Sr. Financial Analyst will partner directly with executive leaders throughout the organization to provide valuable insights and drive profitable growth.

What You’ll Do 

  • Support the Finance Manager in contributing to the development of the East Market’s strategy, supporting strategic & financial decision making, challenging assumptions, providing financial analysis and guidance on activities, plans, targets, and business drivers. 
  • Understand business drivers and connect financial outcomes to operational activities. Drive and deliver analytical evaluations in key initiatives and projects. Translate complex data into insights and recommendations for stakeholders. 
  • Perform month-end close variance analysis and make recommendations on corrective actions to be reflected in rolling forecasts. 
  • Act as a business partner to support leadership in defining target setting logic for sales plans that are objective, fair, consistent, and based on sound financial principles. 
  • Conduct ongoing P&L reviews with organizational leaders to steer business objectives (e.g., margin health and OPEX management). 
  • Provide financial risk analysis to support strategic pricing decisions and their impact to margin. 
  • Train sales leaders on financial topics (e.g., profitability, investments, target setting). 
  • Lead or participate in department or regional projects or tasks on an ongoing and/or as-needed basis. 
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Data Analytics, required 
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Data Analytics, preferred 
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience; minimum two (2) years experience in Finance or similar role 
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to compile and manage large volumes of data and analyze information for reporting purposes 
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, required 
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, required 
  • Ability to self-reflect and show a high learning agility, whilst proactively seeking and providing constructive feedback 
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-powered tools, preferred 
  • Knowledge of SAP, preferred 
  • Fluent in English required, bilingual preferred 
  • Normal office conditions, with partial remote work available
  • Up to 25% of domestic travel required
