The Senior Hilti Store Team Lead is accountable for achieving profitable sales, as well as budget and inventory targets in a designated market or assigned store(s). As team leader, this individual must demonstrate strong team building and coaching skills, develop team competencies, and achieve team commitments. Also, this position will be responsible for organizing store coverage and providing local managerial functions that will serve to enhance and coordinate Hilti Store activities within the local sales team.
What You’ll Do
- Assist Regional Manager in source and select process
- Responsible for training and integrating new hires for the assigned Hilti Stores
- Coach and develop Account Managers in stores, including writing feedback
- Conduct Hilti Store Audits and prepare action plans to ensure Internal Control Systems (ICS) compliance
- Assist Regional Manager in performance management and corrective actions
- Serve as resource and operations expert for assigned stores
- Drive sales by ensuring team is executing key initiatives
- Responsible for training and development of new team members, and development of strong Strategies for Successful Selling (SSS) skills in all team members
- Coordinate merchandising, implementation of new product display, and promotional consistency within supported area
- Assist local sales management team incorporating Hilti Stores into local city plans
- Oversight of local Hilti Store operational budgets within supported area
What You’ll Bring
- At least two (2) years in the Hilti Store representative position or retail experience, required
- Field sales experience, preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
- Proven learning agility
- Complete understanding of Hilti Store operations and all Hilti Channels, or a complete understanding of commercial retail operations.
- Proficiency in SAP and SFDC (Salesforce), required
- Previous leadership experience preferred; capable of proactively acquiring new Hilti customers by effectively communicating our value proposition and following through to close sales
- High level of motivation, initiative, and customer service
- Train Hilti Store Account Managers on Hilti strategy, product, customer service, process, and operational excellence
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment on a regular basis
- Strong mechanical aptitude and conceptual understanding of customer applications
- Excellent consultative selling, demonstration, and presentation skills
- Effective time management skills and organizational ability
- Self-leadership skills: independent, comfortable working with limited direction
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- May take and respond to emergency calls from Hilti security during normal Hilti Store hours and after hours

Combination of home office, meetings, driving company vehicle to make sales calls at customer offices, and making jobsite visits will be required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Adverse Working Conditions:
- Job requires walking on construction sites and uneven surfaces, as well as climbing scaffolding, ladders, and stairs during all seasons of the year
- Depending on geography, employees may be exposed to adverse heat or cold
- Construction jobsites may also expose Regional Managers to excessively loud noises; ear protection is strongly encouraged and may be required on some jobsites
Safety Equipment Required:
- Hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots, and long pants required for working jobsites; must observe and abide by any and all safety regulations as required by Hilti, OSHA, and General Contractors
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift and carry up to 65 pounds of Hilti product
