Global Segment Manager (m/f/d)

As a Global Segment Manager, you will play a key role and drive one of our global Power Segment business for Hilti (Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Utilities, Power Equipment Manufacturers).
You will be part of the global Energy & Industry team and be responsible for the development of our market reach and product offering to grow the segment globally.
You will work together with the markets and global teams to ensure best levels of account engagement and project execution.
In this role you will have global impact in defining, driving, and implementing the Power Segment strategy in defined regions. You are considered the business owner of your segment and you will work closely with local and regional market organizations to define and prioritize business opportunities in line with the global strategy. You will drive Account Engagement, steer the Global / Regional business developers, and ensure proper projects execution to grow your segment.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Define overall segment strategy in line with development ambitions
- Define technology, markets, and accounts prioritization
- Understand the customers’ needs to refine and clearly articulate Hilti’s Value Proposition accordingly
- Help to build relevant market reach set-ups in key markets
- Develop and steer Hilti’s Power Segment community globally (Global and Regional business developers)
- Drive and accelerate key accounts developments to grow the segment
• Degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), further education in Business Administration (MBA) and / or Project Management an advantage
• Proven experience in the Power Industry (Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Utilities, Power Equipment Manufacturers, etc.) ideally in Sales & Marketing, Design & Engineering, Project Management
• Strong business acumen and customer orientation
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed to drive your segment, plus international mobility in the long term is needed.
• Strong team collaboration capability and ability to work within a matrix organization. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English is a must, any other language is a plus
