As a member of the Hilti Distributors Organization Logistics team, you will ensure timely shipments of products from our Regional and Global Distributions Centers to our distributor’s organizations across the region. With this role you will be part of a team that drives logistics customer satisfaction for more than 70 countries. You will coordinate between the Hilti distributors organizations and all stakeholders involved in the supply chain, both internal and external.

What You’ll Do

Operations: 

- Coordinate and assist in logistics processes along the supply chain ensuring smooth placement and end-to-end execution of orders from Hilti distributors. 

- Be the logistics go-to person and interface between our Distributors and Hilti HQ Export team, Freight Forwarders, and other logistics related departments or suppliers. 

- Support partner organisations with varied supply chain enquiries; for example, answering product availability requests, preparing quotations and proforma invoices, tracking shipments, etc.

- Ensure necessary export documents are provided to our distributors in a timely manner (original invoice, correct bill of lading, certificate of origin, product test report, etc). 

- Coordinate and follow up for timely inspections as required by some specific countries and support when a Letter of Credit is required. 

- Handle and track complaints for the assigned countries and seek sustainable solutions.

Process Improvement: 

- Work cross functionally, use lean management tools and methodologies, adapt global standards / guidelines and sustainably solve root cause issues to achieve cost productivity, efficiencies, or service improvements

Process Compliance: 

- Ensure all activities are compliant and in line with internal policies and Hilti’s Code of Conduct
