Project Manager Tool Service Engineering (m/f/d)
Join our AMS Teams for an international career!
As a Project Manager Tool Service Engineering, you will take ownership for the service and repair strategy of Hilti’s product portfolio, including batteries, chargers, industrial fastening tools, and impact drivers.
You will drive end-to-end service concepts through the complete product lifecycle, ensuring repair quality, efficiency, and customer experience across our global Tool Service network.
In this role, you will collaborate with Business Units like Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Tool Service Centers worldwide to lead strategic engineering projects and continuously improve repair technologies, processes, and standards.
• Own the global service and repair strategy for our batteries, chargers, industrial fastening tools, and impact drivers.
• Drive improvements in repair quality, turnaround time, repairability, cost efficiency, and service processes.
• Lead global AMS Engineering projects and strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Define and implement repair concepts, diagnostic solutions, service technologies, and global repair standards.
• Act as the global technical interface for regional Tool Service Centers and Business Units.
• Develop training concepts and support knowledge transfer across our worldwide service organization.
• Travel internationally approximately 20% to collaborate with Tool Service Centers and global stakeholders.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in engineering, product development, or technical project management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to structure complex topics and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills in an international environment.
• Strategic and conceptual mindset combined with a hands-on problem-solving mentality.
• Solid technical understanding of products, manufacturing, service, or production technologies.
• Ability to drive change and deliver results in a complex global organization.
• Excellent English communication skills; German and additional languages such as are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally and commitment to relocate to an international assignment after approximately two years as part of the career path of this role.
