Procurement That Powers Business
Procurement Specialist 2 is responsible for sourcing goods and services for the organization utilizing existing agreements. This position supports business units by issuing purchase orders, reviewing contracts, providing contract management and guidance to team members for approved suppliers. This role works closely with Supply Managers to ensure savings objectives and KPIs are achieved and will support operational issues regarding supplier quality, delivery or service. This position will spend 50-60% of the time providing support,
administration, vendor management and reporting tasks associated with telecommunications which includes, but is not limited to, mobile phones and landlines for Hilti users and offices in the United States. Provide high-level customer service with a strong emphasis on service ticket fulfillment, timely deployment of new devices, and efficient return of assets. Oversee operations to ensure user satisfaction, project continuity and internal consistency.

What You’ll Do
- Assist Supply Manager in material group management.
- Administer purchase orders for the organization including MRBR and GRIR.
- Responsible for routing documents for approval as needed via Docusign.
- Work with accounts payable team, fixed assets and General Ledger teams with reporting and projects, as needed.
- Support organization on negotiating and administering small contracts.
- Adhere to and apply spend authority guidelines as published in the company signature guidelines.
- Provides purchasing service and information for other departments as required; manage internal intranet postings of approved suppliers and purchasing tools.
- Developing strong relationships with internal business partners and suppliers.
- Make payments with purchasing card and manage team purchasing card expense report.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize user problems and complaints; create and assign problem tickets using Hilti’s ticketing system (ServiceNow) by gathering information on user requirements to facilitate service, installation and equipment orders.
- Perform necessary administrative work, update user profiles, databases and documentation.
- Process and fulfill service tickets for new phone requests, transfers, upgrades, and replacements.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and activation of devices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all telecom equipment with the asset management team.
- Test new user-based hardware/software required to support telecom environment.
- Execute audits on telecom, network, and mobile services provided throughout the United States.
- Interface with On-site IT Support team and vendors when a problem requires escalation and bring continuous improvements of monthly reporting for mobility and other telecom costs including zero-usage reporting.

What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma, or equivalent experience, required
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience, required
- General functional know-how: selecting and qualifying suppliers, understanding products/services, supporting with negotiation, contract management and legal awareness, required
- Relevant sourcing/buying experience specifically with indirect services and materials, preferred
- Three (3) years of telecom and/or IT experience, preferred
- Mobility management experience preferred
- Technical understanding: Knowledge of basic telecommunication technologies such as 4th generation (4G) and 5th generation (5G) cellular technology, Long-Term Evolution (LTE), Fixed Lines (POTS), Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Transmission System 1 (T1)
- Knowledge of Mobility Device Management (MDM) solutions such as VMware AirWatch, Android Operating System and Samsung mobile phones
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and activities, required
- Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, required
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Skilled with MS Office Suite; Strong Excel (Analysis) and PowerPoint knowledge, preferred
- Ability to work independently and with minimal direction with a proactive approach to internal customers and suppliers
- Experience analyzing and negotiating terms and conditions for subcontracts and non-disclosure agreements, preferred
- Up to 10% domestic & international travel, required
