What’s the role?
As a Senior Social Media Program Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling Hilti’s global social media program landscape, driving measurable business impact and long-term value creation. Building on our ambition to become the most trusted, engaging, and visible brand on social media, you will own and evolve strategic global programs such as employee advocacy, influencer partnerships, vertical content, user-generated content, and customer ambassador initiatives. You act as a strategic driver and sparring partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring our social media initiatives are fully aligned with business objectives, continuously optimized, and embedded across markets.

What does the role involve?
Strategic program ownership · Own and drive the vision, roadmap, and continuous evolution of key global social media programs. · Translate business priorities into scalable social media initiatives that drive engagement and impact. · Proactively identify new opportunities and shape the global program portfolio.
Global rollout & governance · Lead complex global deployments, balancing global consistency with local flexibility. · Establish clear governance frameworks, playbooks, and operating models to ensure sustainable adoption. · Ensure programs are embedded into daily operations across markets and regions. Performance & business impact (close work with Performance and Projects Manager) · Define and steer KPIs, success frameworks, and targets, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. · Leverage data and insights to continuously optimize program performance. · Communicate program impact and ROI to senior stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Management · Act as a trusted expert and sparring partner for social media programs. · Lead alignment across global, regional, and local stakeholders, including senior management. · Navigate complex environments and drive decisions across cross-functional teams.
Innovation & capability building · Identify, test, and scale emerging trends, platforms, formats, and technologies (incl. AI). · Introduce best practices and frameworks to continuously improve program maturity. · Design and deliver advanced training and enablement for global teams.
Team contribution & knowledge sharing · Share expertise and support the development of others through collaboration and coachingContribute actively to the team’s knowledge base, ways of working, and continuous improvement. · Act as a role model for ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
