Description and requirements

Purpose of Hiring 

We are looking to hire an experienced iOS developer to strengthen our mobile engineering team and support the continued delivery of high-quality mobile solutions. This role is important to improve delivery confidence, reduce dependency risks, support team growth, and ensure long-term stability and maintainability of our iOS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications with focus on reliability, usability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Take ownership of complex features from requirement understanding to delivery, release, and production support.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and help ensure solutions are scalable, practical, and easy to enhance.
  • Collaborate closely with product, UX, QA, backend, DevOps, and leadership teams to deliver complete mobile solutions.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve complex issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Support release readiness activities and ensure smooth delivery of iOS builds to internal and external users.
  • Follow secure and privacy-conscious development practices while handling user and business data.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, participate in code reviews, and help improve engineering standards.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and modern iOS SDKs.
  • Good understanding of Swift fundamentals including protocols, generics, closures, extensions, memory management, and error handling.
  • Experience with iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Composable Architecture.
  • Practical experience with Swift Concurrency including async/await, Task, actors, and thread-safety handling.
  • Experience with local data persistence technologies such as LMDB, SQLite, SwiftData, Core Data, or similar storage solutions.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, URLSession, authentication, caching, and API error handling.
  • Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, snapshot testing, mocks, and testable code design.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, automated builds, and code signing.
  • Experience with TestFlight, App Store Connect, Provisioning Profiles, Certificates, and iOS release process.
  • Familiarity with Xcode debugger, Instruments, memory graph, crash reporting, logging, analytics, and observability tools such as Firebase, Sentry.
