Business Developer – Nuclear 

Location: National with daily travel to project sites and premises – Bristol ideal base 

As a Business Developer at Hilti, you’ll work at the centre of complex, highvalue nuclear projects — becoming the technical partner customers rely on to solve challenges, influence specifications and bring engineered solutions to life. You’ll work closely with engineers, project leaders and key contractors to position Hilti systems effectively, transform design intent and open new opportunities across major nuclear construction environments.

You’ll combine deep technical insight with commercial awareness and a strong field presence — creating impact not just through what you know, but through the value you deliver in every conversation, site visit and design discussion.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted technical partner on nuclear project sites, working closely with engineers, designers and project management teams to understand complex challenges and propose practical, engineered solutions.
  • Strengthen long-term relationships withOwners,EPCs, designers, nuclearcontractorsand key influencers, ensuring Hilti is embedded throughout design,procurementand installation stages.
  • Identifyopportunities across the full range of nuclear project contractors — from EPCs and tiered suppliers to specialist installation partners — using your insight toaccelerate growth.
  • Develop and manage a forward-looking pipeline across multiple nuclear work packages, understanding project phases, milestones and where Hilti can add strategic value.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working on UK nuclear projects, with a strong understanding ofsectorspecificregulations,standardsand requirements — alongside the ability to build effective relationships at every level, from specifiers and designers to site teams, projectleadershipand asset owners. 
  • A degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, enabling you to apply engineering insight seamlessly — from interpretingearlystageconcepts through to detailed, complex design processes, including reading and interpreting drawings acrossdifferent designphases.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to link technical value to meaningful customer outcomes and real project improvements. 
  • Eligibility to obtain the security clearancerequiredfor nuclear project access, enabling you to visit sites, spot opportunities,identifyareas for improvement and presentwellconsidered, engineered solutions.
