IT Software Engineer - SAP Archiving and Application services
We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of our SAP Content and Application Services portfolio.
In this role, you'll work with a diverse range of technologies that support critical business services, from Data Archiving and Monitoring Solutions to emerging cloud-based capabilities. You'll be responsible for both development and operational support, ensuring our solutions remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs.
Working closely with the Product Owner for Content and Application Services, you'll have the opportunity to contribute beyond day-to-day delivery by influencing the direction of our platform strategy, including the adoption and evolution of SAP Cloud ALM and other innovative services within our product roadmap.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working across multiple technologies, and playing a key role in building the next generation of SAP Content and application services.
What You'll do
As an experienced IT Software Engineer – Content and Application Services, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting a portfolio of enterprise platforms that enable critical business operations across the organization.
You'll work across a broad range of technologies and services, including SAP Data Archiving, SAP Content Management, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and DocuSign, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, and fit for future business needs.
The role combines hands-on engineering, solution development, platform enhancement, and operational support. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new capabilities, improve existing services, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive the adoption of modern SAP operational practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance solutions across SAP Data Archiving, SAP Content Management, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, and DocuSign platforms.
• Provide operational support to ensure the reliability, security and continuous improvement of Content and Application Services.
• Drive platform modernization by supporting the adoption and evolution of SAP Cloud ALM and other strategic services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Apply engineering best practices to maintain secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a cumulative GPA above 3.0; a Master’s degree is a plus
•Minimum 3 years working in the SAP environment either in SAP Data Archiving or SAP Basis administration
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and operational service delivery for business-critical systems.
•Strong analytical mindset with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and take ownership of tasks, along with the capability to demonstrate leadership qualities when required.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in clear, simple terms
•Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Good-to-Have Qualifications
•Experience with SAP Cloud ALM implementation, administration, and monitoring capabilities.
•Experience with cloud platforms and modern SAP technologies, including SAP BTP.
•Experience working in product-oriented or agile delivery environments.
