What’s the Role

As a Construction Project Manager at Hilti, you’ll apply your engineering expertise in a consultative, technically driven role, working across MEP, BIM, design coordination and project delivery on HS2.

It’s a technically challenging opportunity in the right way — one where you’ll develop Hilti’s presence and support suppliers delivering one of the biggest infrastructure programmes in Northern Europe.

You’ll take ownership of project opportunities, help tackle real challenges faced by contractors and designers on HS2, whilst building a strong network across project partners and key decision‑makers.

If you're an engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, engaging with people and influencing technical decisions, this role gives you the perfect blend of challenge, visibility and impact.

What you’ll do

  • Engage closely with MEP leads, BIM teams, designers, package engineers and Tier 1 delivery partners.
  • Represent Hilti in HS2’s digital engineering ecosystem, ensuring our solutions are aligned with MEP and BIM workflows.
  • Identify early‑stage opportunities and position Hilti’s engineered solutions to address technical and coordination challenges.
  • Bring engineering credibility into conversations — from design discussions to on‑site demonstrations and technical advice.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams — supporting, guiding and fostering a vision that results in a unified, high‑impact approach.
  • Maintain a clear, disciplined pipeline using Salesforce, ensuring strong organisation and visibility across your project landscape

What you need

  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in construction or design — whether from a Tier 1 contractor, subcontractor, MEP firm, BIM/digital engineering team or consultancy.
  • Resilient and persistent — comfortable navigating complex stakeholders, staying focused and keeping momentum even when challenges arise.
  • Influential and confident in negotiation — able to shape conversations, guide decisions and secure buy‑in through credibility and clarity.
  • Energetic and proactive — able to create movement, drive opportunities forward and drive pace.
  • A team player with a “winning together” mindset.
