Lead strategic procurement and category management across North Asia.
Drive a robust procurement roadmap, vendor implementation, and actionable reporting while ensuring compliance with global standards. Manage categories end-to-end to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance, aligning with regional and global strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, delivering market insights and value creation.
What You’ll Do
As a Regional Category Manager, you will be the strategic driver of procurement and category management across North Asia, covering areas such as travel, fleet, marketing, IT, facilities, and HR.
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals and global procurement standards to deliver sustainable value.
- Build and implement procurement roadmaps that enhance efficiency and introduce innovative sourcing solutions.
- Oversee vendor onboarding, performance management, and long-term relationship building for seamless integration.
- Own reporting and analytics through spend analysis, KPI tracking, and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
- Uphold procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements to maintain strong governance and risk management.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize costs, improve processes, and foster continuous innovation.
- Work closely with the Region Head of Procurement to implement medium- and long-term strategies across multiple categories.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 4–5 years in category management, indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or project management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in vendor management, compliance, and procurement analytics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools; experience with procurement systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin; additional languages are a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and an effective team player.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Regional Category Assistant Manager; the final title will be commensurate with experience.
