Global Management Development Programme (Outperformer)

Outperformer is our flagship global leadership development programme – a fast paced, immersive, two year journey designed to stretch your thinking, build your capabilities, and give you real responsibility from day one.
This is where your potential becomes real and plays a key role in achieving our purpose of Making Construction Better.
Program start: August 2027.
What you’ll do
As an Outperformer, you’ll rotate through diverse roles and teams across our business, both locally and internationally. You’ll learn from experienced senior leaders, work on high impact projects, and grow through intentional coaching and mentoring – all while gaining a deep understanding of Hilti’s customer focused business model.
You can choose from two tracks:
Business Track with 4 rotations:
- 12 months as an Account Manager in Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö – owning customer relationships and seeing our products and solutions come to life.
- 3 months on an operational project at the Swedish HQ in Malmö across areas like marketing, engineering, HR, logistics, or finance.
- 6 months on a strategic project at our Regional Headquarters in Manchester.
- 3 months on an international assignment outside Northern Europe.
Finance Track with 4 rotations:
- 12 months as an Account Manager in Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö.
- 3 months on a local finance project at the Swedish HQ in Malmö.
- 6 months in Controlling & Reporting at our Regional Headquarters in Manchester.
- 3 months on an international finance assignment outside Northern Europe.
What you’ll bring
We see that:
- You have the right to work or a valid work permit in Sweden.
- You’ve graduated within 2 years of your application, or you’re preparing to graduate in 2027, with a master’s degree.
- Your degree is relevant to the track you're applying to – for Business Track we’re looking for engineering, business management, marketing or similar. - For Finance Track, we’re looking for a degree in finance, economics, or similar.
- You have at least 3 months of international experience – working, studying, or volunteering abroad.
- You have less than 2 years of full-time professional experience.
- You are fluent in both Swedish and English, additional languages are a plus.
- You’re curious and committed, a flexible team player with excellent communication and social skills. You’re a global thinker, interested in general management topics, keen on intercultural experiences and opportunities working abroad.
- Driving licence

- Social Project Summit: 7 days dedicated to building a better future, with contribution to a hands-on, high-impact community project. This experience offers the chance to immerse yourself in a different culture while actively improving living conditions for those in need.
- Leadership Summit: An enriching learning journey in partnership with the IMD Business School in Lausanne, featuring online modules and collaborative projects with fellow program participants. The experience concludes with a 5-day on-campus summit to deepen insights and to foster business and leadership skills.
