Project Execution Manager
The Project Execution Manager is the main counterpart for the Construction Project Manager to plan, manage and coordinate and own all required execution tasks in the Project Management Office from Engineering, Bid & Proposal and Contracting to Fulfillment for large projects.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in capture teams for engineer projects (if needed and on demand) to perform and assess options material delivery and logistics cost calculations following elaborated logistics concept (transport, customs, intermediate storage, etc.) to support bidding and proposal phase
- Fully execute repeat orders/projects with materials only based off release designs and bill of materials with or without the use of material takeoffs
- Create customer-facing proposals for projects to cover the materials offered agreed on with the customer, including contract writing and pricing
- Review drawings and consolidate material orders to determine material cost also ensure use of designer’s inventory
- Understand materials management and supply chain constraints to forecast materials and support program long term per the multiyear pipeline
- Ensure product availability by defining a material staging process with Materials Management through SAP
- Gather specific customer logistics requirements for materials and specials (e.g., labeling packaging, deliveries, unloading, timing, etc.) and explain cost vs benefits to the sales team
- Work with credit, tax and customs teams to provide all required project-specific documentation
- Ensure correct order entry and on-site delivery, final invoicing and managing customer complaint notices
- Assess/mitigate risk throughout project duration, especially when scope changes arise; execute change order management
- Other duties as needed or assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Construction Management, preferred. Master’s is a plus
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in engineering to order fulfilment, construction management, or related field, required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in spanish & english; proven ability to communicate complex situations in an easy-to-understand manner, required
- Knowledge of Contract Management, required
- Knowledge of pricing strategy, credit terms and profitability
- Knowledge of materials management, logistics and transportation methods
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.), required
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred
