The purpose of the role is to drive the product development, launch, product support, pricing, initiatives and growth of Hilti’s product leadership (PLS). The Product Manager is a key partner to the PLS marketing teams in Hilti Global as well as Trade Managers in regional HUB marketing. The role involves defining and communicating the strategy for product leadership (PLS) for the assigned Business Unit at an MO level. The job holder is responsible for the assigned product lines revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses (OPEX).


What You'll Do

1.    Strategy – Define and communicate the strategy for product leadership (PLS) for the assigned Business Unit at a regional HUB level

2.    Global integration – Align Hilti global PLS initiatives with HUB market needs; contribute best practice solutions to Hilti’s global PLS effort

3.    Process leadership – Lead the implementation of the Hilti process Product Portfolio Management (PPM) with a focus on the HUB Time to Money (TTM) new product development activity

4.    Trade Strategy – Support the efforts of the regional HUB trade team to develop content and support account managers on product and application knowledge• Key deliverables – Responsible for assigned product lines revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses (OPEX)

5.    Manage the matrix of HUB team members – Product Manager position is responsible to collaborate with materials management, direct marketing, market reach, training, marketing communications, trade, Hilti online, customer service, engineering, and the marketing organisations to properly support their product and control information flow• Market Research – Product Manager is responsible to monitor the activity, innovation, market reach strategy, and pricing of the competition in the regional HUB markets; additionally, the Product Manager will work closely with trade managers to communicate product improvement and portfolio enhancements to the Hilti Global product development teams in the business units

6.    Training – Product Manager will serve as the regional HUB content expert with regards to the product they support and will collaborate with training and marketing communications to build training content and product launch materials

7.    Partnering with relevant trade and / or segment managers within the region

8.    Proactively engaging with Sales Directors throughout the region including sharing the roadmap for all INPs

9.    Additional duties as assigned


What You'll Bring

1.    Holding minimum of bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering

2.    Good understanding of product marketing with the ability to contribute to overall product strategy

3.    Ability to juggle multiple tasks and determine priorities

4.    Strong communication skills, at multi-level and high proficiency in English both written and verbal

5.    Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills

6.    High motivation level and energy, drive to outperform particularly on partnering with sales team
