What are we looking for? 

We’re seeking a Field Engineer to join our Engineering team, position based in Medellín. In this role, you’ll provide expert technical support and consulting to our clients in the Residential & Commercial Construction sectors.

This is a technical-strategic position that works closely with our sales team. We’re looking for a professional who is passionate about construction projects from early planning stages to final execution. You should have strong relationship-building skills, the ability to identify customer needs, and the expertise to deliver tailored solutions and specify the right products for each phase of a project.

What does the role involve? 

•  Engage with B2B clients in the Construction Industry, including large construction firms, engineering consultancies and key decision makers on the construction industry 
•  Identify early-stage projects to collaborate on with the sales team. 
•  Support ongoing projects by providing technical consulting to help close deals. 
•  Deliver comprehensive technical advisory services during the early phases of projects. 
•  Manage customized technical projects by developing solutions, technical specifications, and material lists to meet client needs. 
•  Conduct on-site visits across Medellin & Cali
•  Support the sales network in presenting technical and commercial proposals to clients.

Requirements: 

•  Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields 
•  4–5 years of experience in similar roles, including project management, engineering consulting, or technical-commercial advisory in the Construction Industry.
•  Experience with BIM modeling and Lean Construction is a plus 
•  Conversational English - Intermediate level at least (mandatory) 
•  Strong interpersonal skills across multiple levels 
• Teamwork, leadership and Collaboration attitude
•  Organized, proactive, and autonomous - ownership to develop the projects and achieve the goals 
•  Excellent communication skills  
•  Familiarity with CAD software and Revit is desirable
