What is the role?

The Construction Project Director is a key leadership position responsible for driving end-to-end the largest and most complex projects in the semiconductor area in north Asia. This role ensures we deliver exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial outcomes across a portfolio of high impact construction programs.

As a trusted partner to our customers and internal stakeholders, the Construction Project Director champions Hilti’s values, enables high performance in cross-functional teams, and ensures our solutions and services reinforce Hilti as the partner of choice.  

The position is based in Taiwan within the Energy & Industry team and is part of a setup composed of 3 project directors (Americas, Europe and Asia) aiming to maximize the usage of Hilti solutions globally.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a capture team to maximize topline and meet profitability targets for tier one international projects.
• Full P&L responsibility for all projects, including order execution by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure project compliance with Hilti rules and guidelines at country, regional, and global levels.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive project success, aligned with customer strategies and with organizational goals.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
• Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Promote the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing project team.
