Develop hands-on experience in logistics while making an impact from day one

 

Role overview:

At Hilti, logistics is a key enabler of customer satisfaction and business performance. As a Logistics Specialist, you take ownership of complex logistics operations, ensuring efficient material flow, high service levels, and continuous optimization across the supply chain.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain contact with the Regional Distribution Center
  • Responsible for stocks and inventory of Hilti Romania
  • Coordinates procurement processes
  • Liaising with several of our service providers to ensure on-time imports and exports of shipments, all aspects of warehousing & transportation operations (including inbound, inventory management, outbound, reverse logistics, local & regional deliveries) and other administrative activities to ensure our customers’ business requirements are met
  • Working closely with other departments / functions – Customer Services, Sales, Material Management, etc. – to ensure better services to our customers and on special requests
  • Working cross-functionally, adopting global standards and guidelines, and sustainably solving root cause issues to achieve cost productivity, efficiencies, or service improvements.
  • Using tools like Excel & PowerBi in order to support business decisions
  • Ensuring cost management, invoice control and conduct necessary audits & checks to ensure that risk mitigating controls are in place within all aspects of operations

 

 

 

What you bring:

  • Previous 1-2 years experience in logistics, ideally FMCG or other industry with complex processes at operational level is mandatory
  • Higher education;
  • Excel – advanced level is mandatory
  • English – advanced level is mandatory
  • Romanian language – native speaker mandatory
  • Understands logistics processes and can identify improvement opportunities (can learn , develop, use experience in order to chalenge status-quo)
  • Annalytycal skills – extract data, understands trends
  • Organised , structured
  • Stakeholder management – nice to have
